Twilight Tuesday Sketch Challenge #2 – ATCs

This weekend in between watch the Twilight movie, I was cleaning up my craft area. I have a folder that has scraps leftover from what I have used on past challenges and another folder containing all the goodies that the TTIC Design Team has sent me.
I have been trying to figure out something to make using the Sketch Challenge for this month.


Going through these folders I found one of the Twilight Collectors Card I had bought at Hot Topic. As I was looking at the card I got to thinking, what if I made some Twilight Artistic Trading Cards (ATC)? Now I have never made any before so thought this would be a fun way to start!

Jacob


This beautiful paper is double sided and since I didn’t want to cover up either side, it was perfect for this.
I thought it looked like Jacob. Rustic and natural. I used copper ink on my wolf stamp to give it a bit of shimmer.

TTSC2 was perfect for the back. As you can see, I made it a little crooked. I used the font, Almagro, for Jacob’s quote from New Moon.

My Monkey Man


I just love the baseball scene from the movie and this is such a cute saying!

As you can see I used the TTSC2 excatly. I also inked the edge of the card in Brick Red Tim Holtz ink to give it a bit of a rustic look.

Twilight


This is my take on the cover of the book Twilight. I made it very shimmery!

Using this paper that looks like a page from the book I reversed the TTSC2. The quote is from Bella found in the Epilogue of Twilight.

I hope this gives you some ideas on how to use up those Twilight Tuesday scraps as well as the Twilight Tuesday Sketch Challenge!!
