An agent and a jaguar-shifter chase trouble, and each other, through the jungles of Belize
Agent Tammy Anderson has a reputation: she prefers to work alone. So when she’s paired up on a mission with jaguar-shifter David Patterson-who’s only recently been released from jail-to say she’s less than thrilled is a understatement. Until she realizes that this sexy agent has what it takes…
Soon, what started as an “easy” mission to locate a missing jaguar takes the pair to Belize, where they’re chasing down two renegade teen shifters who know more than they’re telling. As the action heats up, can they keep their minds on the job and off each other?

Romance In The Jungle With Terry Spear’s Shifters
Jaguars live in the jungles south of the US border. So I love to set at least part of the stories in my paranormal Heart of the Jaguar series in one of the jungles down south. In Jaguar Hunt, I used the setting of Belize again, like in Jaguar Fever, because I loved it so much and I wasn’t done having fun there.
The jungles are beautiful, full of tropical flowers like orchids with their fragrant smell wafting through the air, colorful parrots, toucans, the national bird of Belize, macaws, butterflies by the thousands. Ocelots, margay, jaguars, howler monkeys, tapir, sloth, spider monkeys, peccaries, to name just a few, live in the rainforest. And fruits and foods? We often think of the bananas we have to buy in the store, or pineapple, allspice, breadfruit, coconuts, mangos, and more, but these things grow there without any help from us.
Sugar white beaches entice travelers, and the aqua blue waters are great for snorkeling and diving. The rainforest has a wealth of flora and fauna, and a lot of it has never even been explored. To think we could go there and see plants and animals no one else has ever witnessed.
The jaguar shifters in my books love to explore in their spotted coats while they enjoy their wilder side. Jaguars LOVE the water. So what better way to spend some getting-to-know-you time? In Savage Hunger, one of the hottest and most loved scenes is between the heroine and hero in the waterfall. Now how romantic is that? In Belize, it’s in a pool of water at the base of the waterfall where hikers rappel down the waterfall. Outdoor showers can be sexy fun also!
But even sitting in a café where the jungle sounds of monkeys howling surrounds you, and there’s no need to perfume the air because the orchids living there will do it for you, just makes for the most luscious and romantic time ever. Not that it’s all fun and games.
In my upcoming release, Jaguar Hunt, David and Tammy are in South America to locate a missing zoo jaguar, and the jungle heats up with mystery, attempted murder, and twin boys who are at the root of the whole issue. And humor? Yes, always!
For this couple, visiting the steamy locale is both business and pleasure. They have fun in the jungle, and so can you. Just make sure to take a wild jaguar shifter along with you. Like David. Ohmigosh, you have never truly seen the rainforest unless you’ve gone with a jaguar. Hot, hot, hot!

Jaguar Hunt is the third book in the Heart of the Jaguar series. I just loved the plot of this one and had such a difficult time putting it down. While it is possible to read this book as a standalone and totally enjoy it, I would recommend that if you are a fan of contemporary paranormal romance that you should just read this wonderful series. I have and I am so looking forward to the next book!
