A story about what would happen if Indiana Jones fell in love with Lara Croft, set against a background of capital cities and hunting for priceless treasures.

Dr. Cat Livingstone works for the British Museum, and she’s frustrated as hell when she discovers the mysterious man she knows only as the Silver Fox has snatched yet another artefact she wanted. She tracks him to the Swedish Ice Hotel, determined to steal the priceless necklace back, but she doesn’t bank on him being the most gorgeous guy she’s ever laid eyes on.

Dr. Heath Roberts buys artefacts for Te Papa Museum in Wellington. He’s unaware the blonde beauty who catches his eye at the Absolut Icebar is also the annoying Black Cat who’s stolen several treasures from under his nose. In the mood for a one-night stand, he asks her back to his room.

Cat says yes as a ruse to get closer to the necklace, but Heath persuades her that the opportunity for some hot sex is too good to pass up on. They have a fantastic time between the sheets, but Cat steals off in the early hours of the morning with the necklace. This prompts Heath to chase her around the globe, ostensibly to get his revenge but also because he’s fallen in love.

If you are looking for a short but hot book to kick off your summer reading, well this is the book for you! This easy read romance is just what I needed when I picked it up for the first time. The only reason I put it down was to feed the kiddos (why do they have to eat so often!). As soon as I could I picked it right back up and finished it!

The synopsis basically says that this is where Indiana Jones and Lara Croft battle for the same artifacts and fall for one another. That is very true. I don’t think that Cat is as strong of a character as Lara Craft but this is an excellent way to describe how the plot goes in this book. They are hopping all over the world, chasing each other and stealing the artifacts that the other wants for the museum they are working for. Then Heath falls in love with her and has to take thing slowly or he may scare off Cat who has a thing against commitments.

All in all this is a fun, hot romance that is perfect for reading by the pool this summer!

(This book was received as an ARC from the author/publisher in exchanged for an honest review.)

I love the whole stealing artifacts thing and while Cat might not be as strong as Laura Croft , I love the comparison..eep, this sounds like a great read and you need to teach those kids to feed themselves…hahaha!
