From the author of the Twilight, Texas books comes the first in a dazzling new Cupid, Texas series. Lori Wilde welcomes us to Cupid, where every wish for love comes true…
Natalie McCleary couldn’t believe her eyes-a lean-muscled, darkly tanned, nearly-naked man stood in her path…and then it hit her: love. Everyone always told her it’d hit like a thunderbolt, and she never believed them. But now she knew: practical, sensible Natalie was head over heels in love-with a stranger.
But ex-Navy SEAL Dade Vega wasn’t about to be a stranger for long. He’d ridden into Cupid on his motorcycle, vowing to keep a promise he’d made to a military buddy. But a single glimpse at Natalie-soaking wet and unexpectedly tempting-changed his life forever.
But how can he offer her is love, when he can’t even promise to stay in one place for longer than a week?
Review:
Natalie McCleary is from the family who is famous for the writing letters to Cupid legend in this small Texas town. At 29 years old she has just about given up with falling in love and it affects her ability to answer letters left for Cupid. That is until she sees Dade Vega for the first time.
Dade has come to Cupid looking for his foster brother after receiving a text message from him. Due to his tragic past, Dade has trust issues. With meeting Natalie and getting to know her strong but sweet spirit, he may have found the one person he can trust to give his heart to.
Author Lori Wilde has become my go-to-author for small town romances that have such heart and soul in them. The way she tells these stories makes them feel very real for me. Her characters are ones you would love to be neighbors with. Along with the entertaining plot, Love at First Sight is a delightful book in what I know will be a hard to put down series.
