Waiting on Wednesday: The Lost Night (Harmony #9) by Jayne Castle

Here is what is being release on September 4th 2012 and I can’t wait:

The Lost Night

The Lost Night (Harmony #9) by Jayne Castle

Even the mysterious world of Harmony has people who don’t quite fit in. They’re drawn to places like Rainshadow Island, a beautiful sanctuary where anyone can feel safe—and where secrets are closely guarded…

Schooled in an exotic form of martial arts, and with the ability to detect the auras of dangerous psychic criminals, Rachel Bonner and her dust bunny companion have found peace and quiet on Rainshadow Island, operating a bookstore and café.

But her tranquil new life is thrown into chaos when Harry Sebastian, the descendant of a notorious pirate, arrives to investigate strange developments in the privately owned woods known as the Preserve.

Immediately drawn to the amber-eyed woman, Harry must tread carefully. While Rachel’s special talents can help him track down dangerous rogues who have violated the Preserve, they can also sense the heart of darkness within him. But desire can weaken the strongest of defenses—and leave even the strongest man wanting more…

As a fan of Jayne Castle (Jayne Ann Krentz) I have been waiting for this book as soon as I saw it was coming out. I just love this Harmony series. The characters and the dust bunnies always makes these books a favorite of mine.

Wow this is a long series. Glad to see you’re still enjoying them all even with 9 books. I feel the same way about The Morganville Vampire series. I think we’re on book 12 and I still love it. Nice pick. 🙂

    My Wow

  2. Martina Koleva says:

The book sounds interesting but it’s ninth in a series and it’s a big commitment. Maybe in the future when I have more time I’ll give it a try. I do hope you enjoy it when it comes out. Great pick.
Come check out my WOW post.

I haven’t started this series but it sounds great! Nine books is a lot to catch up on but I might read it one day if I can. Great pick!

  4. Maria @ A Night's Dream of Books says:

Oh, my gosh…what a coincidence!! I was going to feature this one this week, then changed my mind and scheduled it for next week, choosing a Christine Feehan book instead!! I swear! Well, now I’ll be changing the book for next week, too. Lol.

But seriously, I love the plot of this one!! And the cover is a visually interesting one, too. So I see that we both agree on how terrific this book is going to be!! Of course, I already have it on my Goodreads TBR, as well as my Amazon wish list.

How is it that we chose the same book? You must be psychic,..lol.

Thanks for commenting on my WOW!! : )

  5. Lizzy says:

I haven’t read this series (9 books?! Holy cow), but I know that a lot of people enjoy it. I might have to give it a try. Great pick!

  6. Cassie F. says:

Never heard of this book, but the cover and premise are interesting! Adding to my list right now! (like I need any more books to add)

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  7. Tiffany Drew says:

Sad, but I haven’t heard of this series before either. That’s a lot of books to catch up on though, perhaps I will have to pick them up for a read-a-thon!
