Maybe you’ve heard about the battle of Jericho and David’s battle against Goliath, but what about the day the sun stood still? Inside this book, explore six of the major battles from the Bible, filled with dozens of items for you to seek and circle! Every battle scene also has something to tell us about God’s plan for His people through His Son, Jesus.
For an added challenge, look for the six pieces of the armor of God as you explore each battle.
Use a wipe-on, wipe-off marker to seek-and-circle over and over again!
This B&H Kids book includes a Parent Connection, an easy tool to help moms and dads (or anyone else who loves kids) discuss the book’s message with their child. We’re all about connecting parents and kids to each other and to God’s Word.
My 4-year-old daughter loves this book! I had put it on my desk to show her later when she found it and brought it to ma begging me to read it to her. So we immediately sat down with a dry erase pen and I showed her what we had to do.
I was really surprised by how much my daughter enjoys working in this book. She is very… girly.. and this is a book that focuses on the battles that happen in the Bible. But when I ask her to get her schoolwork out she brings along this book to do her “Bible class”. She loves hearing about the battles and finding the objects. Each time she uses it she finds more and more objects.
I am very pleased with how well this book was made. The book lays flat when opened so it is easy for my child to use. It does not come with dry erase markers or a cleaning cloth but I already had those so I did not have an issue with that. A paper towel cleans off the pages very easily. The pages are bright and colorful and keep my daughter’s interest for quite some time!
I have to admit some of the objects are hard for me to find! We get one of her big brothers to help us and soon it becomes a family event looking for everything we need to circle.
