My Weekly Bible Journaling #72: Jeremiah and 100 Days of Bible Promises Devotional Journal (Link Up)

Had a fun and busy evening yesterday. Took 6 of 8 of my kids to the movies and then my oldest came over and had a late night dinner with us. It was so nice to have a meal with all 8 kids together! Then we get home and Baby AG decides she does not want to go to sleep! I may have to do something I am not supposed to do and make some hot tea to help get me going today!

It is still hot out and our pool broke so my boys are getting a jump start on their schoolwork. Even my 4 year old is excited and has started some of her preK work as well! Praying that we have a great school year this year!

Bible Journaling:

Here is what I have been journaling in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible.

No matter how hard or how scary we feel it is, we still need to surrender our all to Him. We need to let Him mold us and make us the vessel of honor that He wants us to be. I think it is amazing that he can take our imperfect selves and make them beautiful and useful.

This is my last journaling page in Isaiah. There is so much to learn in this wonderful book and now I can’t wait to get started in Jeremiah.

Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand. – Isaiah 64:8

Supplies: Prima Marketing Watercolor Confections

I find this verse so amazing. He knew who we would become and where our lives would take us before we even came to be in our mother’s wombs. What an Awesome God He is!

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew[a] you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” – Jeremiah 1:5

Supplies: Set of 12 Gel Crayons

I love your pages! And you are right- No matter how scared we might be when we surrender all to Him, He makes something beautiful of our lives. We can then be creative and His light will shine through. Blessings to you! I’m your neighbor this week at #TrekkingThru. 🙂

    • Dani says:

This is a lesson I am working on right now in my life. I am so thankful that He gives me reminders when I need to hear them! Blessings to you this week!

  • There are a lot of good verses in Jeremiah, he was the weeping prophet and had a deep calling. I need to look for gel crayons, the pens sometimes leak or quickly run out.

    • Dani says:

I haven’t read Jeremiah is a long time so I am looking forward to diving in! Gel Crayons are fun to use and don’t hide the words so you can still read your page!

  • Joan Taylor says:

Beautiful Post. Love your Bible journaling. I am your FMF neighbor. I am so glad I stopped by. The book of Isaiah is one of my favorites. Blessings to you and your family as you begin the new school year.

More beautiful pages, they are such a lovely way to celebrate these wonderful passages. Beautiful words and beautiful art together.

  • I’m your neighbor again at Let’s Have Coffee! Love seeing your pages. I really liked the Jeremiah one.

  • Dear Dani, I stumbled into Isaiah about forty years ago. After a slow start, it eventually became one of my favorite texts in the Bible. I love how it is full of encouragement and promises.

  • Teresa says:

I love all your pages! In Portugal school only starts at the beginning of September, so we have another three weeks to enjoy the summer.
Thank you for joining The Really Crafty Link Party!

  • So artistic! It’s amazing how God “knew” all of us before we were ever us. Sometimes I can’t wrap my mind around his greatness when I think about the vastness of the universe, the amount of people on earth, and then I think to myself, He is in all of us and in every living thing. #Alittlebitofeverything
