My Weekly Bible Journaling #71: Isaiah and 100 Days of Bible Promises Devotional Journal (Link Up)

Another quiet week out here. It has been so hot and I have been stuck inside with two sick little ones. Well one of them is a preteen and is almost bigger than me but he was hit hard with that Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease. My baby is also sick and all she wants is to snuggle in my arms. So I have been binge watching Road to Avonlea. I even got my teenage son as well as my two preteen sons to watch this with me. They ask interesting questions about the time period and we are really enjoying our time together. If you have never watched this show we highly recommend it.

Bible Journaling:

Here is what I have been journaling in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible.

Cuddling with my baby who is under the weather today. Nothing worse than a sick baby.
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners… - Isaiah 61:1

Hello Paulette! Thank you for hosting your journaling party! I don’t have anything specifically for journaling; however, I did link my French Ethereal’s 4th Birthday Anniversaire post and I’ll go pick up an older post about creating Scripture Quilts that I photographed at a friend and my Bible study teacher’s home. <3

Thank you and Happy Monday to you,
    Hugs,
    Barb 🙂

I love my Bible Journal as well as the 100 Days of Bible Promises Devotional Journal. They are wonderful ways to read His Word and to become creative!

    Love your work!!

I’m in to prayer journaling but I’m not sure it’s in to me. I should probably clarify: I like to write but the drawing – even just fancying up script – never seems to work. I love looking at everyone else’s work though.

I’m also usually surprised at how much more things seem to stick with me when I’m engaging with the Word as much as I’m able and in the ways God has given me.

Very blessed today to have seen your post (via the Let’s Have Coffee linkup).

You can always use stickers or rubber stamps when you journal. I did this past week and I love how my page turned out! I hope you give it a try! I would love to see what the Lord is having you work on! Blessings!

We didn’t have cable growing up so I didn’t watch it until my library carried some of the episodes on VHS. I love this series!

Oh, I’ve never seen The Road to Avonlea, but I loved Anne of Green Gables when I was younger, so I need to check it out. I hope everyone is feeling better by now and thank you for sharing your lovely work at The Really Crafty Link Party this week.

You do need to check out Road to Avonlea! Marilla, Mrs. Lynde and Miss Stacey are all in it! Gilbert even makes an appearance in one episode! You shpould also look for Jane of Lantern Hill!

Let me know what you think or if you have a question!
