My Weekly Bible Journaling #70: Isaiah and 100 Days of Bible Promises Devotional Journal (Link Up)
This past week while two of my kids were on a mission trip in South Texas my youngest son and I found out we didn’t have strep – we had Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease. Don’t know where is came from but what a yucky sickness! My son and I are better but we did give it to another one of my sons so now he is in bed asleep. Poor Baby!
So while I was sick I had a few moments of not feeling too bad so I was able to journal and do a few random things I had been wanting to do…
In my free time here is what I have been journaling in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible.
So many prayers being lifted up today. I have 2 on a mission trip, another getting a minor procedure done on his foot, another starting a new job and another who is having a reaction to his meds. I am so thankful I can talk to Him whenever I need too!
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. – Isaiah 55:8-9

This verse is perfect for today. We are definitely in a sun-scorched land. 108° today (broke our 93 year old record high of 107°) and tomorrow is supposed to be hotter!!
The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. – Isaiah 58:11

Lately I have been reading in Proverbs and finding that God’s Wisdom will help us with everything we are going through in life. (Day 12/100 Days of Bible Promises)
Let your Faith be bigger than your Fears!! (Day 13/100 Days of Bible Promises)
Supplies: Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps
Now here are a few things I did while I was getting over that nasty bug!
I bought these two crosses on clearance at Hobby Lobby. They were grey and said Rise and Shine. Brought them home and pained the purple and then I found a seller on Etsy who makes vinyl stickers. I thought these two would be perfect!. I am so please with how they look and I have one on my desk and the other in my kitchen window.
As I watched some episodes of Road to Avonlea I colored… He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find Refuge. Psalm 91:4
I had seen a video of some baby sea turtles about to be released this week and something about that made me want to do a watercolor. So here is what I did in my prayer journal.
