Well I ended up taking another unexpected time off these past few weeks. So much has been going here. Kids going and coming home from camps. When they come home they are sick. Then we celebrated the 4th of July, my birthday and then I sent more kids off to camp. Now we are getting ready to send two of our kids on a mission trip and I find out that my youngest son and I have strep throat. Praying that the Lord gives me the strength and patience I need to get through this and that no one else catches it!
In my free time here is what I have been journaling in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible.
This has been a tiring day. Praying for my kids at camp this week and for my daughter who had a dental procedure this morning.
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. – Isaiah 40:30-31
Supplies: Tim Holtz Distress Mini Ink Pad
Before the kids and I head outside I wanted to do something simple and bright… A bit different from what I have been doing lately.
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. – Isaiah 43:19

Isn’t is awesome when you read something in the Bible and it is like God is talking straight to you! He knows what you are going through, what is on your mind and what you have been worrying about. I believe that He does use His word to reach out to us – to love and comfort us.
Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. – Isaiah 46:4
Supplies: Faber-castell Gelatos
So thankful for His Grace and Forgiveness!
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. – Isaiah 53:5

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord. – Psalm 150:6 (Day 8/100 Days of Bible Promises)

One of my babies is sick today. ☹ Trying to keep the others away from her so they don’t catch this nasty bug!
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! – 2 Corinthians 5:17 (Day 9/100 Days of Bible Promises)
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever. – Psalm 23:6 (Day 10/100 Days of Bible Promises)
