This week we have 2 birthdays to celebrate! So I am off to wrap presents and decorate!
I had been reading about this verse and was going to write out my thoughts about it when my little one woke up from nap time screaming. She is cutting teeth right now and wanted Mommy to cuddle with her. So when I finally came back to this page – I had totally forgotten what I was going to say!
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” – Isaiah 6:8
One of the prophesies foretelling of the coming Messiah. I do find it interesting that one of His names is Immanuel which means God with us.
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. – Isaiah 7:14
No matter what the situation we find ourselves in… He is with us! Even when it doesn’t feel like it, even when we feel alone and scare… He is with us! We tend to forget that, tend to think we just have to be strong when what we need to do is lean on Him and not be afraid.
Day 2/100 Days of Bible Promises
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. – Isaiah 41:10
As I read today’s devotional I started thinking about this Hymn and the story behind it. No matter what we have or will go through – nothing is too difficult for God. He will help us walk out of all of our trials. (Day 3/100 Days of Bible Promises)
