My Weekly Bible Journaling #61 Proverbs ( Link Up)

Such a busy week! Even more so than normal. Which is why this post is going up super late (sorry about that!). We had two birthdays, dentist appointments, a baby dedication and a day trip to a local zoo and museum. Fun times, wonderful memories and one extremely tired Momma!

This coming week should be quieter. Prayers to my oldest daughter as she makes the trek out to Colorado so she can help my sister as they get ready to move to Montana.

Unfortunately I did not have a lot of time to read and journal in my Bible this week. This is what I was able to finish:

It has been a busy several days and it is not over yet! So glad I have a Savior that help me rest and give me peace when I need it! “Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. – Proverbs 30:5

Finished the book of Proverbs today. I always learn a lot when I read this amazing book.
This has been such a busy week that I haven’t been able to do as much reading and journaling as I normally do. Today we are celebrating one of my son’s birthday and tomorrow we are taking all 8 kids to the dentist for their check ups and cleaning. That should be fun!
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. -Proverbs 31:30

I just don’t understand that! I have looked into and I cannot tell what is going wrong on my end to cause the error message. I am so very sorry!!!

Your colors are so beautiful. I always admire those nice wide margins, but I usually want to fill them with words and notes. 🙂 But when I bought a new Bible recently, I decided I needed the large print more than the wide margins (sigh*). Thanks for sharing your lovely artwork!

Thank you Donna! I like filling my Bible with color, it makes me happy. 🙂 I have to write my notes in a notebook. I do not like my handwriting at all!
I recently got a large print coloring Bible. It is amazing! So easy to read and so much space in it to doodle, paint or write! I had no idea how wonderful this kind of Bible is!!

I finally jumped in and put something in my journaling Bible. Thanks so much for your encouragement in this area. I linked to you in my blog, because you are such an inspiration and I want others to be inspired, too. 🙂 Blessings to you, Dani!

This is the first I’ve heard of a “Journaling Bible,” but I love it! I do journal, but have used those boring old composition notebooks for 10+ years. I love to be artsy with Adobe Spark and create beautiful, pinnable pics, but would love to look more into this. Looks like fun! 🙂

It is fun and so helpful when you are reading and studying the Bible.I started with a Coloring Bible and it really helped me find how to best express my thoughts and prayers.
Let me know if I can help you in any way!

I love the book of Proverbs. There is so much wisdom, comfort and inspiration in it. Your journal pages are beautiful. I hope this week is as joyful as last week, but a bit quieter for you. Praying for your daughter. Thank you so much for sharing, Paulette, and for being a part of the Hearth and Soul Link Party. Have a blessed weekend.
