My Weekly Bible Journaling #60 Link Up – Proverbs
This has been a crazy week! We are getting ready to celebrate 2 birthdays and a baby dedication. So much going on and then I went to a scrapbook garage sale… oh wow! So many new goodies for me to use in my Bible! I can’t wait to find some time to use them!
I can’t believe that this is week 60 since I started reading this Bible. It is not that I am a slow reader but I am just taking my time and getting all I can get out of these verses. Last week I added a Linky for anyone who Bible Journals or uses an art or craft form to express what they are learning from the Bible or their love for our Savior. Please link up your post and share it with us. I can’t wait to see what the Lord is working on in your life!
This is what I read and journaled this week in my Bible:
We have been busy getting little projects around the house finished. Yesterday we painted and added new address numbers to the mailbox and planted some flowers. Today I am working on my yard décor. Just enjoying the sunshine and being with the kids!
Eat honey, my son, for it is good; honey from the comb is sweet to your taste.
Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. – Proverbs 24: 13-14
Have you ever seen a blacksmith work iron? It is hard, labor intensive , sweaty work. Persistent, careful striking of a tool against the sharpener is required. It can take quite a while for a blacksmith to finish his creation. A true, honest and loving friend is like a blacksmith. They can help us, condition us and show us how to improve our walk with Christ. They don’t put you down, they help you become stronger.
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. – Proverbs 27:17
Today is the start of another busy weekend in our house. The best way to start it off is by spending time with Him. I pray you have a beautiful weekend!
Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction. – Proverbs 29:18
