My Weekly Bible Journaling #59 Link Up (Proverbs 16 – Proverbs 22)
We have had a really good week. One day it was pretty out and not hot so we did a little bit of yard work. It is so nice to see and enjoy the sunshine! Of course the next day it rained and stormed but it looks like this coming week we can go outside a bit more. Below are some of my roses that are blooming in my yard:
Some of my boys went out to Dinosaur Valley and spent the day exploring and just hanging out together. I ended up only having the two youngest ones at home. I think the girls enjoyed having Mommy all to themselves.
This week I am trying something new. I added a Linky for anyone who Bible Journals or uses an art/ craft form to express what they have learned from the Bible or their love for our Savior. Please link up your post and share it with other Christian Creatives! I can’t wait to see what the Lord is working on in your life!
This is what I read and journaled this week in my Bible:
We want God to Bless us and to bless whatever we do. In order for Him to do that then we need to commit to Him our everything. Only then will he Bless our work and us.
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. – Proverbs 16:3
Our relationships with others are important. Those who stick with us through the good times and especially the bad times are the best of friends!
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity. – Proverbs 17:17
Do you have that one true friend? Someone you can tell anything to and not worry how they will react? Someone who wants to spend time with you and who you can share good and bad times with?
One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. -Proverbs 18:24
Spending the day with my youngest two babies. We have gone over pulling hair, throwing and sharing so far.
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. – Proverbs 22:6

These are gorgeous pages! I was gifted a Bible Journal and did just a few pages and then put it away and forgot about it! So I’m so thankful we are neighbors and I clicked on over! You have inspired me to pull it back out in the open so I won’t forget to play!
I hope use your Bible and show us what the Lord is leading you to learn! Blessings to you!
I keep seeing the Bible art work and just love it, but not sure how to get started. I’m inspired. Maybe I’ll actually purchase a Bible and give it a try! beautiful pages!
I started with a coloring Bible (in fact that is what I am using here). It really helped me get comfortable using different media on my pages. If you have any questions please feel free to ask! i will be happy to help you!
I don’t actually journal this way but I’m going to suggest the link to someone who does.
Thank you for sharing my link! I would love to see what you journal as well! 🙂

I love your journal pages! Are you using mostly water colors? Thank you for sharing your beautiful post at “Words on Wednesday” link party. -Marci @ St
I do mostly use water colors. I like how they look and how I can still read the Bible even when I paint over it.
Beautiful. I love your flowers too, I can’t wait for the weather to improve around here as well so that we can spend more time outdoors.
Thank you for sharing at The Really Crafty Link Party this week!
I just love flowers! Yesterday it rained here but today the sun is starting to peek through the clouds! 🙂
Blessed by the beautiful Proverbs you shared – especially loving Proverbs 16:3. I love that He ‘establishes it’ – my job – trust. God bless – I’m your neighbor at #FaithonFire.
Proverbs is just filled with some of the most amazing verses! Thank you so much for stopping by! Blessings to you this week!
Beautiful artwork in your Bible! I am just starting to get into Bible journaling (though I haven’t done painting; I enjoy using stickers and washi tape primarily.) And that’s the beauty of Bible journaling–we can use various artistic methods to illustrate the truth of God’s Word. I love it!! Blessings to you, and happy journaling!
I too have used stickers and washi tape in my Bible journaling! I love how God can lead us all to use different mediums to create something in His honor!
SO many pretty pages. Pinned.
Thank you!! 🙂
So nice you have a linkup now! I’ve still not done any Bible journaling yet, but I hope to soon. I do have an art journal and sometimes with my collage or painting I do express my faith in God and His working in my life. So it should be an easy thing to move into Bible journaling. 🙂 Thanks for your beautiful contribution to the #LMMLinkup! Blessings to you!
I am going to have a new link up this week (starting today) so be sure to link up what the Lord is teaching you in your art journaling! I know I would love to see it! Blessings to you this coming week!!
