This week we officially recovered from the Stomach Flu of 2018. It is a miracle that I never came down with it! I am so glad that is over and we are able to move on…
This weekend we are celebrating Hubby’s and mine wedding anniversary. I am so thankful that God has Blessed me with such a wonderful and godly man. He takes such good care of me and our eight children. Words really cannot describe the love and admiration I have for him!
Here is what I read and journaled this week in my Bible:
Do you know someone who is going through a dark time in their lives? Someone who is sad or depressed? I hope you can give them a kind word today. Write them a note, text them that you are thinking about them. That you love them and are praying for them. And then do just that – pray for them.
Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up. – Proverbs 12:25
We want our children to be the best that they can be. We want them to make the right choices, to follow The Lord and to have happy lives. So when they are young we teach them. We teach them about God, about the Bible and we pray for them. When they become adults we don’t quit teaching them. Our methods may change, but how we live our lives is still an example for them to use.
The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, turning a person from the snares of death. -Proverbs 13:14
So much going on right now. Praying for my son and his stomach issues and praying for a family member selling her house. Praying for my older kids and they wisdom they need… Spending this weekend celebrating my wedding anniversary. I am so thankful and blessed to be married to such a loving man!
Bought some new acrylic paint last night (yeah for coupons!) and decided to give them a try this morning. Made one little mistake and this page happened. Not my normal style but maybe it works…
Today I need this verse. I think most people struggle with giving a gentle word instead of a harsh one. Lately when I feel I may be harsh in what I say I just walk away.
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. – Proverbs 15:1
