My Weekly Bible Journaling #55 – Psalm 140 – Psalm 150
The house was quiet this week with only four/ five kids home. It sounds like my two that went on the mission trip had a great time and want to go back this summer to help out with their VBS. It is so awesome seeing them wanting to help others.
We got the tests back about my youngest son and his Celiac Disease is genetic. So now we just keep a closer eye on all of his siblings. He is going to the allergist soon because his doctor thinks he might be allergic to other foods as well.
Thank you to all who prayed for my daughter. Amazingly she was not injured in her accident, just her car! We have an Amazing God who kept her safe!
This is what I read and worked on this week in my Bible:
Praying for my two kids while they are away serving the Lord! Praying for safe travels and changed hearts.
I know that the Lord secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy. – Psalm 140:12
If you are like me then every morning as you get up one of the first things you do is check your social media and the news. You want to see what you missed while you were asleep. Instead of doing that shouldn’t we check in with God? See what He has to say about this new day. Thank Him for all he has done and for all He will be doing in our lives…
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. – Psalm 143:8
So many tragedies today. So much sorrow, so much pain. Where there is that much pain it can be hard for us to depend on Him to love us and to heal our hearts.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. – Psalm 147:3
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
It took a while but I am finished with Psalms! I have enjoyed reading this wonderful book and now I look forward to reading Proverbs next week. May God Bless you this weekend!
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD. -Psalm 150:6
Growing up my local PBS station played Joy of Painting with Bob Ross every afternoon. If I was done with my schoolwork and wasn’t babysitting I would sit down and for thirty minutes be marveled at the talent this quiet, gentle man had.
Recently one of my sons (who is into these Pop Funko toys ) showed me these Bob Ross ones. I think they make a fun addition to my desk!
I made some bookmarks last year and they were featured on the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog this week!
I would like to thank

I really like how you used colors for your first one (Psalm 140: 12). And the Bob Ross Pops are so cute! I remember sitting and watching his show on PBS when my Aunt babysat me. And sometimes my Grandmom and I would try our hands at his paintings.
I have never tried to paint one of his painting but that is something I really would love to try! 🙂
Wow, I like everything that you journaled this week; especially the shamrock one. Making bookmarks is a favorite. Congratulations on the feature.

Very inspiring. I totally agree with you, when we start our mornings, we should read the word of God, this helps shape our day’s activities in the right direction.
I know it really helps my day when I start it with Him! Blessings to you!

A lovely job on your journal, as always! Thanks for sharing with Party in Your PJs!
I used to check my social media first thing in the morning but I find that it set the tone for my day based on what “crisis” was trending at the moment. I find that my days are much happier if I spend some time in silence and gratitude each morning instead. Thanks for sharing it at #WoW Words on Wednesday.
