My Weekly Bible Journaling #54 – Psalm 121 – Psalm 138
This week has been a bit crazy. Sick kids, doctor visits and one of our older ones were in a car accident and damaged her car. When things like this happen it is always good to remember that He is in control and that He is not only with you – He is also with your kids.
This coming week two of my kids will be on a Mission Trip in South Texas. Praying for their safety and for their hands to do whatever needs to be done.
Do you have any mountains you need to overcome today? We all do. Our mountains come in all shapes and sizes but one thing is the same – God will help us with them.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. – Psalm 121:1-2
We have 9 children – 8 on earth and 1 in heaven. Each one of them is a Blessing from The Lord. Each one of them is prayed for daily. We are so thankful we have them in our lives and we love each one of them.
Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. – Psalm 127:3
Spending the day getting some stuff done and preparing for the week to come. Praying for my kids and husband…
The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. – Psalm 138:8

Praying for your kiddos. May God protect them and open hearts to receive their message.
Thank you so much for your prayers!
Hope the kiddos are feeling better. Thanks for sharing your progress with your bible.
Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂
I need to keep looking up.
Praying for you!
I really like the glitter effect on your one page…and the mountains are beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
I love glitter! 🙂 Thanks for coming by!
How beautiful is your Bible journaling. I tried and have realized I am simply not artistic in that manner – but give me thread and a needle and I so enjoy “journaling” His mighty Word! How I love to admire the journaling of others and take in the Truth presented so beautifully…Thank you for sharing!
I see that you sew! I can cross stitch and needlepoint but I can’t quilt. It is something my youngest sister and I would love to do. That takes talent and a lot of patience and time.Things I wish I had! 🙂 Blessings to you!
I love the verse about children being a heritage from the Lord! So many people don’t believe that anymore. Thanks for highlighting it! 🙂
Isn’t that sad! Children are a Blessing and we should be thankful for them! I hate hearing stories in the news where people hurt or kill children. It breaks my heart.
I Bible journal verses in my own special note book and draw pictures sometimes with it. Found your post at #MMBH today yay and hopped on over here. Spending that time alone with God and being creative sometimes is awesome to refuel.
It really does help me get through my week! If you share your Bible Journaling online let me know where and I will stop by for a visit! 🙂
Beautiful journaling
Thank you!! 🙂
I keep getting invalid security token so made comment short.
I don’t know why that happened to you! I am so sorry!!
Such a beautiful way to slow down and listen to the Lord!
Yes it is! 🙂
The artwork in your journaling is very pretty and creative!
Thank you so much Donna for your sweet words!
Your journalling is so beautiful, I hope your daughter is ok after the accident, it can really shake you up when something like that happens.
It did shake her up. Of course when she tried to reach us – none of us had our phones on or with us! 🙁
Beautiful words! Beautiful pages! Thank you for sharing your talents!
Thank you so much for popping by for a visit! 🙂
I hope your daughter is ok after her accident. My daughter had quite a few accidents when she was younger – almost inevitable living in the Houston area! Your beautiful illustration of Psalm 121 is perfect for that season of life! Thanks for sharing your journaling at Merry Monday! I can’t wait to see what you link up next week! Roseann from This Autoimmune Life
We live outside of Dallas so I know what you are talking about. The traffic is awful! She is ok, mostly shaken up and upset by it all. Thank you so much for coming by with your sweet words!
This is beautiful journaling! Thank you for sharing. My adult daughter enjoys doing this also; I can tell that the Lord really uses it to bring His Word deeper into the heart! I am Praying for your children!
He really does use it! I know Bible Journaling has helped me become so much closer to Him!
Scary week, I hope everyone is ok by now.
Thank you for sharing your lovely work at The Really Crafty Link Party this week!
Everyone is good now, Praise the Lord! 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by!
