This past week has been a quiet one. My oldest daughter is still out of town but will be heading home in time for my Sweet Hubby’s birthday. This will be an interesting celebration because it will be the first one where we will be doing a gluten free menu. Praying that the food turns out ok and is yummy!
Here is what I have read and journaled in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible this past week:
I started this past week off with Psalm 50:
The Mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to where it sets.
From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth. – Psalm 50: 1 -2
I don’t have a set time or schedule when I do my Bible reading prayer and journaling. I just do it when I find a free moment. I spent some time in His word before I made dinner (chicken enchiladas!!) the other night.
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. – Psalm 51:10
Who doesn’t need to hear this verse…
Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. – Psalm 55:22
This is a project I have been working on this past week. I collect and print up recipes that are gluten free and sound yummy to make. In order not to lose them I tape them onto scrapbook paper, put them in page protectors and in a special binder. So now I have a pretty recipe binder that makes cooking so much easier!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Are you a Bible Journaler? If so I would love to see what the Lord is working on in your life. Leave me a link to your page and I will stop by and check it out!
If you have any questions about what supplies or a technique I used please feel free to ask in the comments below. I am more than happy to help!
