I am sitting here at my desk with two little girls who are playing with my feet. Yes – with my feet. With all the toys we have in this house the one thing they want to play with today is my feet. So this is going to be a quick post because I need to find the nail clippers and clip some nails before they scratch the skin off of my poor feet!
Ever since I read this verse I have not been able to get that wonderful song out of my head. I sang it the entire time I worked on this page. I did in fact use the stamps from two different companies but I am very pleased with how it turned out! I am so happy I found this old deer stamp, perfect for this page!
As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. – Psalm 42:1
Our weather turning icky for a few days and of course my oldest daughter was traveling. Lots of prayers going out that night! I am pleased to report she made it to her aunt and uncles house safe and sound!
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. – Psalm 47:1
How do you pick one verse in Psalm to journal! You just can’t!
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” – Psalm 46:10
and
5 God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises.
7 For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise. – Psalm 47:5-7

Such a cute vision of your little ones. Made me smile. 🙂
It is amazing how an 8 month old and a 3 year old worked together to get me to get on the floor and play with them. Their giggles make me so happy!
I love the flowers you did on the Psalm 42 page! I’ve pinned it on my illustration board so I can try to make some like them. 🙂 Do you actually watercolor on your Bible pages? Or is that something else? What are the pages made out of?

The flowers are a clear stamp from Sweet n Sassy stamps. They have such lovely stamps! I do actually water color on my Bible pages. I do a page prep ( https://paulettespapers.com/?p=13762 ) and then I paint using water colors or acrylic paint (like on the purple Psalms 40 page from last week).
Let me know if you have anymore questions!
As always, your artwork blows me away! What a cool way to connect with the Word!
