My Weekly Bible Journaling #45 – Psalms
This first week of the new year has been quiet but interesting. We are slowly learning to make gluten and lactose free meals. If you have any family friendly recipes or suggestions please share them with me!
Now I am off to do some cuddling with my littles. Have a beautiful day!
Here is what I have read and journaled in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible this past week:
First Bible Jouraling pages of 2018! From one of the most beloved passages in Psalms:
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. -Psalm 23
Amen!
One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. – Psalm 27:4
I am enjoying rereading the book of Psalms!
For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. – Psalm 30:5
Saturday I spent the morning water coloring with my younger boys. We had a fun time talking and spending time being creative together. I am so happy a few of my kids are interested in being creative.
Thank you Create With Joy for spotlighting me this week!

Dani, your Bible journaling is beautiful! The Psalms are a great place to meditate. You mentioned gluten-free cooking. I am adding a link to a favorite recipe for gluten-free muffins.

Thank you so much, Carol, for the recipe! I have copied it and added it to my list. I am making a list of food to make my youngest son, trying to find foods that he will eat that are healthy and yummy. Not an easy challenge!
Love your pages!! I really must learn to use watercolors!!! Hope your year is off to a good start!
I love water coloring in my Bible. There is something so peaceful and relaxing about it. Plus it doesn’t cover up the Scripture!
You may convince me, yet. Your journaling is always beautiful. Thanks for linking up with Literacy Musings.
I hope I can! 🙂 There is just something about combining the written word with art that really speaks to me!
