This week we went shopping to fill our boxes for OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD. My kids love doing this every year and it is a wonderful project for the whole family. Each of the kids have so much fun picking out toys and gifts to give to a child in need. Please click on the link HERE to learn more about this wonderful ministry.
This is what I have read and journaled in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible this week:
Whenever you try to accomplish anything significant for the Lord, you will face strong opposition. This is a lesson that the Israelites learned when they were trying to rebuild the wall.
After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.” – Nehemiah 4:14
Had a fun time with the family last night. We watched movies and my husband and I threw candy at our kids… 🙂 It was a fun night relaxing with the ones we love.
I also shook out the folds of my robe and said, “In this way may God shake out of their house and possessions anyone who does not keep this promise. So may such a person be shaken out and emptied!” At this the whole assembly said, “Amen,” and praised the Lord. And the people did as they had promised. – Nehemiah 5:13
I have been praying for a situation today. Praying for peace and wisdom…
Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” – Nehemiah 8:10
I took a break from my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible one night this week and opened up my Inspired Psalms Coloring Bible. This verse spoke to me and I am so glad I came across it.
Israel, put your hope in the Lord,
for with the Lord is unfailing love
and with him is full redemption. – Psalm 130:7

Wow! Such beautiful artwork! I journal the old-fashioned way in my Bible because the thought of producing fancy artwork leaves me brain-tied ;).
Thank you for your sweet words! Once you get started coloring or painting in your Bible, it is hard to stop! 🙂
beautiful artwork #TwinklyTuesday
Thank you!!
I love the idea of a Christmas collection box and going to do one with my eldest this year to teach Christmas not being all aboit receiving presents
#twinklytuesday
Our kids love doing this project! It is so wonderful to be able to teach them to give.
I’d love to do Bible journalling one day. Maybe when the kids are older and I’ve got more time … at the moment it’s a struggle just to fit in reading it 😉 #TwinklyTuesday
I work on mine during naptime. Usually it is just long enough for me to read a few pages and paint! 🙂
These pages are beautiful! I love this Bible that you have found! Thanks for sharing it!
This is a wonderful Bible to work in! 🙂
I heard a sweet story the other day of someone who’s Operation Christmas Child connected with them on Facebook because they gave their information. It made me feel good to hear! May the Lord bless you as you prepare your own boxes to give. Such a difference it can make.
We pray for the children who receive our boxes and our hope is that these boxes of love will help draw them closer to Him!
I LOVE that you mentioned OCC! Thanks for the reminder for me to remind my readers that collection week starts Monday!!! I am the Area Coordinator for OCC in my area, I LOVE it but it is funny, the next thing you mentioned was that people doing things for the Lord would face opposition and that has been VERY REAL for me since I took this position!! Hope to see you at the linkup this week!!
My family has participated in OCC for years! I will be praying for as you! Thanks so much for helping out and being a Blessing to others!
What stunning artwork. Thanks for linking up to #TwinklyTuesday
Thank you so much for popping by! 🙂

The pages are beautiful each and every week! Helping a child at Christmas time is a wonderful blessing for the entire family. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
