My Weekly Bible Journaling #36 – Ezra

This has been a good week! Just a few highlights:

-One of my boys found a job!

-Another one of my boys made some significance progress in one of his school studies!

-My five month old is almost crawling!

-It is finally feeling like Fall today!

Even with all these good things we still have some things we are praying for. We have a family member that has serious health concerns that we are worried about. We are also praying for my husband’s job. No matter what – whether we are going through good times or not so good times – we still Praise the Name of the Lord and thank Him for all our Blessings!

This is what I have read and journaled in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible this week:

This has been a busy week but I finally finished 2 Chronicles and I am now starting the book of Ezra. I have a feeling I will not finish reading through the Bible this year. That is ok because I am happy with taking my time and seeing what the Lord has to show me.

“This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: “‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. Any of his people among you may go up, and may the Lord their God be with them.’”                         – 2 Chronicles 36:23

“This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: “‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah.  – Ezra 1:2

Can you tell by my colors that I am in a Fall mood today! I am feeling the browns and coppers today as I read this passage:

With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the Lord: “He is good; his love toward Israel endures forever.” And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.
– Ezra 3:11

After I finished cleaning the house on Saturday I found some time to read and journaling this page. What a wonderful way to relax on a quiet day!

May God, who has caused his Name to dwell there, overthrow any king or people who lifts a hand to change this decree or to destroy this temple in Jerusalem.
I Darius have decreed it. Let it be carried out with diligence. – Ezra 6:12

I am also a non-artist! That is why I started with a coloring Bible. It made it easier for me to find my groove and figure out what I felt comfortable doing ion my Bible.

Thanks so much for coming by!
