We had a quiet week until we hit the weekend. Then the kids started dropping like flies. My youngest son and daughter are the worse off and one of them for sure will be visiting the doctor on Monday. Praying that everyone else stays well or recovers quickly.
Hubby surprised me with this HUGE pumpkin! I had the smaller ones around my house but my 3 year old doesn’t like that. She wants them to sit by the ‘Mommy Pumpkin’. She is so funny!
Here is what I have read and journaled in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible this week:
I remember the first time I read this verse. It was on the walls of the dining hall of our church. I would read it each week and without realizing it this verse became one of the first Bible verses that I had memorized.
…if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14
This is a verse I think one of my sons needs to hear. I can see where he is slowly getting frustrated with the situation he is in. I know he won’t give up but I am sure a reminder that God knows what he is doing and is with him could be helpful to his spirit.
But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” – 2 Chronicles 15:7
I am finishing up the story of King Asa and how at the end of his life he made some bad decisions. When God sent him a message instead of King Asa repenting he got mad at the prophet! I love this verse because it is a good reminder that God sees our hearts and the intent of our actions.
For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war.” – 2 Chronicles 16:9

It is really easy! The Bible I am using has illustrations in it so I just color and paint them as I am reading the Scripture: http://amzn.to/2yFbanu
