This has been a week.
As you can see 2 of Chewy’s brothers have found a home with us:
Meet Trooper and Vader.
So now my younger 4 sons each have a dog. Let’s just say not a whole lot of schoolwork got done this week! My 3 year is now asking for one but Daddy and I have told her maybe when she gets older. And that is not for a very long time!
Then one of my sons has been complaining about some pain so we took him to the DR. this week. She ran some blood work and one of the tests came back with horrible results! Scared us all. She had do more blood work the next day. The results came back completely different. Everything was in the normal range. We don’t know what happened on the first test but I don’t want to go through that again!
Let me show you what I have read and journaled in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible this week:
I have a lot on my mind and my heart lately. Thankful that our great God is powerful and over all things…
Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.
-1 Chronicles 29:11
(Here is how I created this page: https://paulettespapers.com/?p=14045 )
Started 2nd Chronicles today. Just now got an answer to a prayer and I am so relieved! Now we are praying that the answers to the rest of our prayers turn out to be just as good!
Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?” – 2 Chronicles 1:10
Wouldn’t that have been the most awesome worship service ever! To be singing and praising the Lord and then for him to appear!
The priests then withdrew from the Holy Place. All the priests who were there had consecrated themselves, regardless of their divisions. All the Levites who were musicians—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and relatives—stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps and lyres. They were accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets. The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang: “He is good; his love endures forever.”
Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.
– 2 Chronicles 5: 11 – 14
(I used watercolor pencils on this page. )
I am getting a good start reading 2 Chronicles this week. This verse is the beginning of the dedication prayer to God.
He said:
“Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven or on earth—you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way. – 2 Chronicles 6:14

Now I want a puppy!
LOL, if you are in East Texas I can help you with that! 🙂
Your pages look great Paulette. Did you use watercolor pencils? Glad to hear that your baby boy is okay. Would be such a scary thing to have the wrong results. The puppies look so cute. Fun to watch, I’m sure.

Thank you Peabea! Yes, on the 2 Chronicles 5: 11 – 14 page I used watercolor pencils. I love how easy they are to use and the end results always amaze me! 🙂
It was scary thinking something was seriously wrong with him. Now we just need to figure out what really is causing his issues.
I love this , I started doing this with my kids but havent done it in a while, inspired to start it up again!
I have been trying to get my kids interested but so far I haven’t had any takers. I wish they had a coloring Bible for preteen – teen boys. Then a couple of my kids would be interested! 🙂
Your journaling artwork is always so beautiful! And, the puppies are adorable. Whenever I see a puppy on social media, I always smile. Puppies and flowers are my favorites, and your journaling pages. I am also glad to hear the results for your son came out OK – God is good!
I love puppies too and these are such sweet babies! 🙂
Thanks so much for coming by!

Charlie is 2 yrs. old and I think I know why you call your puppy Chewy. lol Charlie chews on everything & for some reason he likes to chew up tissue. grrrrrrrr Makes me made cuz it’s everywhere, but we love him & when he gets his energy level up he has too run & I mean fast. Your pups are so adorable. I had five children too. Unfortunately one passed of S.I.D.S. left me with 2 & 2 each one is a story. ha ha ha Now I have grandchildren to love & love & love some more. Oh yes. My oldest son brought us a surprised the last time he visited – a puppy. My teenage son just fell in love with him. Then my youngest two sons wanted their own puppies so now we have 3 puppies and an older dog. I don’t know what we are thinking! 🙂
I am so sorry for your loss. I totally understand what you mean about each child being a story. Each one of mine is so different and unique – it is amazing that they come from the same two parents! Wow – you are a great Grandmommy! That is so awesome!! My Grandmother has 17 great-grandchildren. We wish she lived closer to us and we miss her a lot.
It has been very nice to meet you as well!!
Stunning!

It is a bit crazy right now! But the puppies are starting to listen to us so that is a plus! 🙂
I’ve never tried Bible Coloring, but yours is beautiful. How in the world are your letters so perfect? I would need an eraser. 🙂 I enjoyed your post! Maybe you’d like to read my latest post. I just started writing about a month ago, so I am quite a beginner.
You are very kind! This is a coloring Bible so I am coloring in or tracing over the letters that are already there. It helps a lot! 🙂 Thanks for popping by!
Thank you for sharing this with the readers of Literacy Musing Mondays. Your post was featured this week!
