My Weekly Bible Journaling #31 – 1 Chronicles

Hello All!

This week we got our new school books in. We did a massive clean out of our schoolroom to get everything ready for our new school year. I am always amazed at the bags of trash I collect in there! So now my boys are reading to start school this week. This will be the first time in a long time where I am only homeschooling three of my kids.

Later this week I will be going to Costco for the first time. I have been a member of Sam’s Club for years but there is a Costco much closer to us so we are going to give it a try and see if it is worth changing. I have heard good and bad things so I am curious to check it out.

And then my oldest daughter is flying back home! We have all missed her so much.

Here is what I read and journaled in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible this week:

I started 1 Chronicles this week and now I am reading the Prayer of Jabez:

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request. – 1 Chronicles 4:10

No matter how busy I get I am trying to make time to read my Bible. Have you read your Bible today?

from Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do—200 chiefs, with all their relatives under their command; – 1 Chronicles 12:32

I know I have read the book of 1 Chronicles before but for some reason some this week I feel as if I am reading it for the first time. I am not sure if it is because I am reading through it at a slower pace and really trying to absorb everything. I just hope through my reading, prayer, and journaling that the Lord blesses me and guides me.

Let us bring the ark of our God back to us, for we did not inquire of[a] it[b] during the reign of Saul.” – 1 Chronicles 13:3

This week I reviewed the CSB Apologetics Study Bible. It is not a Journaling Bible but it is still a great Bible to read.
