My Weekly Bible Journaling #29 – 2 Kings

I am so sorry that I skipped posting last week. It ended up that I started feeling worse and when I went to the doctor we found out I had strep. During the week 3 of my kids also came down with it. I am feeling a lot better today but please keep my kids in your prayers as they recover.

This coming week my oldest daughter is flying out to spend a few weeks with my sister and her family. I know she will have a wonderful time but we will sure miss her.

I am sure you are already praying for Texas and we all appreciate it. I am north of  the storm but from what I hear I will be seeing the rain from it soon.

Here is what I read and journaled in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible two weeks ago:

convertedimage (3)

Another childhood favorite! I am always am amazed at God’s awesome power and what it takes to humble a proud man.

Then Naaman and all his attendants went back to the man of God. He stood before him and said, “Now I know that there is no God in all the world except in Israel. So please accept a gift from your servant.” – 2 Kings 5:15

I think this story not only shows the awesome power of God but also show how much God listens to us when we pray.

And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. – 2 Kings 6:17
