My Weekly Bible Journaling #27 – 1 Kings
I just wanted to start today off with a thank you for all who visit and leave me comments! You sweet words really encourage me and I am so thankful to each of you!
This has been a week cleaning the house and getting kids well so we can celebrate my oldest daughter’s birthday. Later this week my sister and her family are coming over to spend a few days with us and we are so excited!
Now I am off to cuddle with my little one…
This is what I read and journaled in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible this week:
Great verse to use when you are praying for someone who is in authority over you.
I used a little bit of washi tape on this page. I love washi tape and really need to add it to more pages!
So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?” -1 Kings 3:9
I know I need wisdom and insight. My prayer is that God blesses me with the right insight and wisdom to deal with any issue or situation that comes up.
God gave Solomon wisdom and very great insight, and a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand on the seashore. – 1 Kings 4:29
I read and worked on this page while my little one napped. There is something so peaceful working with watercolors.
“Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth below—you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way. -1 Kings 8:23
1 Kings is such an interesting book to read. This chapter is about Elijah and the Widow at Zarephath. Elijah had such faith in God and listen to Him whenever He spoke to him.
For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah. – 1 Kings 17:16

We did have a beautiful time together!! 🙂
Your Bible journaling is so pretty and inspiring! I love it. I don’t do Bible journaling, but I’m so inspired by it. Today I shared about planning. There are a few small similarities…but I keep it pretty simple. Stopping by from Mommy Moments today.
Thank you sooo much! I just recently bought two planners and I can’t wait to find the time to get started on them. I stopped by your post and it was very helpful!
Glad you liked it!
Amazing work. I love the pages with the stars. Thank you for joining The Really Crafty Link Party. A very happy birthday to your daughter and enjoy your family visit. Pinned!

This is so cool. I’m on the hunt for a bible that has enough margin space for me to journal in. I recently started bullet journaling and I love that.
There are so many wonderful journaling Bibles out there! My favorites (that are blank ) are these: http://amzn.to/2vN7rmj and http://amzn.to/2wQCsSS. This is one I am thinking about getting: http://amzn.to/2fyzJdI
