My Weekly Bible Journaling #25– Finishing 1st Samuel
This week has flown by! With only 2 doctors appointments, three kids coming home from camp and one getting sick… I am not sure where my week went!
While I didn’t get a lot of journaling done I did finish the book of 1st Samuel. I don’t have a lot on my calendar for this week so I am looking forward to diving into 2nd Samuel. Now to keep everyone healthy as we pack up four of my kids for another camp…
This is what I worked on in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible:
A true friendship like the one David and Jonathan had is a rare blessings. I have had many friendships over the years but only a few turned out to be true friends.
Jonathan said to David, “Go in peace, for we have sworn friendship with each other in the name of the Lord, saying, ‘The Lord is witness between you and me, and between your descendants and my descendants forever.’” Then David left, and Jonathan went back to the town. – 1 Samuel 20:42
I remember studying these passages in Sunday School when I was a teenager. This verse is one of my favorite verses in this book.
The Lord rewards everyone for their righteousness and faithfulness. The Lord delivered you into my hands today, but I would not lay a hand on the Lord’s anointed. -1 Samuel 26:23

I decided to work on another page in my @themessagebible that I found as I was flipping through it. These are such lovely pages and so much fun to work on while you read the passages.

Each week I post these pictures of my Bible journaling pages on my Pinterest board. I also have boards for my Inspire Bible and The Message Canvas Bible. I plan on working in them more and posting more pictures to them soon. If you just want to see what inspires me you can check out my Main Pinterest board where I am currently separating inspirational pages by Books of the Bible.

Your work is beautiful and it complements His awesome Words well.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
Beautiful work!! I have shared some about bible journaling on my blog (sheenalynnblog.wordpress.com) and I have a group on Facebook called Beginner Bible Journaling. You should come join our group and share your work there as well.
Thanks so much Sheena! I will check out you blog today! I have already popped over to your Facebook group and joined. Thanks for the invite! Blessings!
Your art is gorgeous!
Thank you!!!
wow, that is beautiful! I just started sharing my journey with a faith journal, but I have not had any time to work on decorating it much. I am a digital artist, but working with paper intimitates me a lot more, than using a camera, and working with digital applications. Sometimes I will be working on. Thank you for the inspiration.
Blessings

I have seen a lot of beautiful digital Bible Journaling lately and I am impressed with what can be done that way! I can’t wait to see what you create! Blessings!
Beautiful work! Do you actually use watercolor paints in the Bible? Can you point me to a link that explains how to do that without making the Bible too wet? I love the look of the watercolor background.
I do use watercolors in my Bible! If my week coming up is a quiet one I will make you a post showing how fun and easy it is!
Quick note – you don’t have to use a lot of water when watercoloring in your Bible. Also if you put a paper towel under your page and have a heat gun to dry any excess water then that makes things a bit easier!
Beautiful as usual. Thank you for joining The Really Crafty Link Party. Pinning…
Thank you so much!!
