My Weekly Bible Journaling #18
What a crazy, busy week. We are trying to finish up a lot of things before our little one gets here. This pregnancy has flown by so fast and I just can’t wait to bring her home! Just 6 more days….
Here is what I studied and worked when I could this week as I am making my way through my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible:
I have been working my way through the book of Joshua and this is the first page I was able to paint this week. It took me a few days to get it where I like and call it finished. The verse is ‘The land on which your feet have walked will be your inheritance and that of your children forever, because you have followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly.” – Joshua 14:9
I used watercolors and made my very own tree! I think trees are the only thing I can free hand.
“But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” – Joshua 24:15
Just a small prion of a much larger verse but one that is so important.
Almost done with the book of Joshua! It is such an interesting book and I am really enjoying it!
And now I am starting the book of Judges! It has been a long tie since I have read it and one of my favorite stories is in it. I a looking forward to seeing what the Lord wants to show me in this book…
I came across this stamp set I have had awhile by Bo Bunny. I love how it looks on this page with my distress inks.
Look what Hubby brought home this week! I cannot wait to get started in it. It is such a lovely book!
I hope you enjoying this journey with me this year. If you have been Bible Journaling leave me a link to where you have your pages posted and I will be happy to check them out and leave them some love!

Your watercolor painting is quite beautiful! It must be very peaceful to read scripture, pray, and paint, all at the same time. The creativity merges with the spiritual journey.
It is very peaceful which I need! Thank you for your kind words.
I bet you have the most beautiful bible in church! Thanks for sharing on the Pleasures of the NW’s DIY link up!
You are very sweet!!
Joshua. Heard 2 messages mentioning his faith today!
That is so neat! I never hear that many out of Joshua. I don’t know why…
Oh I love them all but the first and third really pop! You do such a lovely job with the pages. The book is going to be beautiful!
Those are my favorites as well! 🙂 Thanks so much! 🙂
I really like how you’ve done your art on these pages! The Lord has given you a beautiful talent; thank you for sharing it with us!
Thank you so much for your sweet words!
You do have talent! I love bible journaling and how we can express our vision about the Word of God. Love your lettering by the way. Lovely! Sharing!
I agree! I love seeing what the Lord is teaching each of us! Thanks so much for dropping by!
So lovely! I’ve wanted to start bible journaling, but I’m so nervous about messing it up. The first chapter of Joshua is one I go back to often.
Don’t be nervous! You will mess up, you will make mistakes, and you will be messy. The point of creating art in your Bible is NOT to make the most beautiful artwork – it is to make a record of what God is putting on your heart. Believe me, I have messed up several times (at least in my eyes). But the Lord has taught me something even through that!
Gorgeous journaling.
Thank you!!
I am just getting started with Bible journaling and recently purchased a journaling Bible. I’m really new to this old but new again way of studying the Bible, and I’m enjoying a faith-based creative journal and a prayer journal…I have created both of these just recently. Your painting is beautiful, and I’m so glad you shared. My best wishes for an easy birth and a happy and healthy baby!
