My Weekly Bible Journaling #9

Hello to one and to all!

Had a another busy week. Allergies are running rampant through my family and I finally caught something. Ugh. I just wish we could have one really good freeze that would kill all these evil allergens as well as the mosquitos. I had a good report on my last regular doctor appointment this week. Now we are going in every two weeks and out surgery day has been set! we can’t wait to meet our newest Blessing…

This week we had our first bit of hail which the kids had to stop what they were doing to watch it. I was finishing the book of Leviticus and then I journaled this page. I used water colored pencils and they worked out so well!

Since it rained I was able to open the windows and enjoy the cool breeze that blew in. Normally it is too dusty outside to open the windows. Love the soft, fall colors here on the first page of the Book of Numbers.

Today was another gloomy, overcast day. Maybe that is why I turned to fall colors again. This is one of my favorite verses and I enjoyed studying it today.

This page is my entry for this week’s The Message Canvas Bible Giveaway. Just go to this website to learn more:  #ColorTheCanvasBible #TheMessageCanvas

In case you missed it this week I reviewed my two favorite Clear Gessos. Check it out if you would like to learn more about it and why I use them:

Bible Journaling looks so neat and beautiful all at once. How artistic do you need to be? I feel like I can’t draw at all. Thanks for sharing on the #LMMLinkup this week.

    • Dani says:

You don’t have to be that artistic! This is a coloring Bible I am using and all you do is use paints, inks, even stickers to make the pages your own!

  3. Laurie says:

Beautifully done! What an amazing way to rejoice every wee! Thanks for sharing with us at Brag About It!

  4. Debbie Kitterman says:

Wow, so beautiful. I love Bible Journaling too… Did you draw these pictures and graphics in the Bible? or do you have one of the Bibles that already has some pages with pictures? either way, what you colored or what your drew, it’s all beautiful Thank you for linking up with #TuneInThursday today! looking forwarad to seeing more next week.

    • Dani says:

Thank you so much for your kind words!! I did not draw the ones here. I am currently using the Beautiful Word Coloring Bible ( ) which has these fun and challenging pictures to color in as well as space to create your own.

Gorgeous job! I’ve a journaling bible with pre-drawn graphics in it. I’ve been hesitant to color in it. I need to take the plunge!

  6. Cheryl Gerou says:

Visiting you from Faithfilled Fridays. Your Bible is filled with beauty. I want to try using some of the supplies you have listed, but I will have to practice on scratch paper. The distress stains look especially interesting to me. Thanks for sharing this. May your soul be refreshed as you use your creative talents to bring glory to God!

  7. Sherry in Texas says:
