Bible Journaling: Week 3

Hello Friends!

I hope you have been having a wonderful week. Life here is as busy as usual. My oldest son made this President’s List for last semester. We are so happy he is doing so well at school. This coming week one of my sons is having some oral surgery done. Please keep him in your prayers as he (and us) are nervous about it. I am not sure how many pages I will get done but I hope to work on one later today…

I used sparkly watercolors so this page and now it has a nice sparkle to it. The bottom of the page did tear a little (I used a bit to much water I think!)  but is actually doesn’t bother me.

I started this one during the football game last Sunday. Our team loss but I love how this page turned out. The colors are lovely and I think I will be water coloring in a lot more of my pages.

Tim Holtz Distress Inks are so much fun to use! I used the Mini Ink Blending Tool to make these fun polka dots.

After I finished water coloring this lovely page I started coloring in one of my favorite coloring books, My Favorite KJV Verses to Color. FYI – I am the only one who loves beach scenes that have been water colored?

I am so excited!! I won this Inspire Bible Large Print NLT last month and it finally arrived this week. I cannot wait to start coloring, painting and journaling in it! I love how it looks and I think it will be a lot easier to color in than the normal size Bible.

FYI – This week I will be listing some craft supplies in my Etsy shop: Polly’s Place. Stop by and take a look when you get a chance!

If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to leave me a comment!

I hope you enjoy this journey with me this year. If you want to join in leave me a link to your blog, Pinterest or Instagram page where you have your Bible Journaling pages and I will be happy to check them out and leave them some love!

  • This bible is absolutely gorgeous and I imagine the time spent coloring allows you to reflect 🙂

I love this idea – how beautiful! I wish I could say that I was creative enough to do this type of artistry… Practice makes perfect, right?

Beautiful pages as usual! I am going to have to try out water colors and the distress inks!! Thanks for linking up again! I’m hoping to have week 4 up in the next couple of hours if baby cooperates :).

Let me know what you think or if you have a question!
