Santa came just a bit early this year and look what he brought me! I am LOVING my new colored pencils!
FYI – I am not an artist, just a coloring enthusiast!
This set of 120 Polychromos colored pencils come in a wonderful tin box for easy and secure storage. There are three trays in it that holds all the pencils.
These colored pencils come pre-sharpened. They are each numbered and everyone of them has its own individual color name on it.
These Polychromos are softer and seem to be more spreadable. While they look great before you blend them, they also blend beautifully. Even more so than most of the brands I have used!
There is also no wax bloom because they are oil based pencils. And they don’t break easy like so many of the other colored pencils I’ve tried!
The above two pictures show what these pencils look like before they are blended.
Below you see the difference using a blending stump and Gamsol!
The left side un-blended and the right side is blended:
I know which side I like, do you?
Now if Santa doesn’t bring you a set no worries! Just watch on those after Christmas sales and use your gift cards to purchase this fantastic set of colored pencils by Faber Castell!
I hope you and your family have a wonderful and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
