Guest Post:

(From Dani – I am soooo delighted to have Ms. Eden here today. She is one of my favorite authors and I know if you have read any of her books you will agree with me!)

Hi, everyone! Thanks so much for having me at Paulette’s Papers! Today, I am in an awesome mood. It’s my birthday. 😉 So I am celebrating like crazy. (That means I have a whole lot of cake at my house…and I’m eating in a frenzy.) I was told that I could pick any topic for my post, so I thought I’d choose my favorite topic…romance novels.

Or rather, why I love romance novels. So here is my “Top 5” list for you.

TOP 5 REASONS I LOVE AND ADORE ROMANCE NOVELS

1. The action. There are so many twists and turns in romance novels. I can’t read fast enough. I love the action in the books. In real life, you’d find me fleeing from any sign of danger, but when I read books, I get lost in the moment.

2. The emotion. Some books are so beautifully written! You can feel the emotions of the characters, just jumping right off the pages. Absolutely addicting.

3. The sex. Romance books are hot. They just are.

4. The plots. There are so many different types of romance novels out there—romantic suspenses, historicals, paranormals, sci-fis…and all of these books have engrossing plots. When I say that I get lost in romance novels, I truly mean that. Hours will pass as I slip away into another world. I love that!

5. Happy endings. When I pick up a romance novel, I am assured that the book will not end in tragedy. I am assured that a happy ending will occur for my hero and heroine. I need that happy ending. I need to feel good when I finish reading the book. I want that pick-me-up, and I can always count on my romance novels to give me that sweet feeling.

But what about you? Why do you love romance novels?

Thanks so much!

Best,

Cynthia Eden
