Waiting on Wednesday: Alpha Wolf Need Not Apply by Terry Spear
Hosted by Breaking the Spine
Here is the book I am waiting for:
Alpha Wolf Need Not Apply (Heart of the Wolf #19)
by Terry Spear
Publication: May 3rd 2016
Mine is preordered on Amazon.
Synopsis:
Wolf shifter and park ranger Eric Silver is committed to his job policing spectacular San Isabel National Forest, and he’s hot on the scent of some mysterious wolves who are up to no good. When Eric’s investigation leads him to cross paths with forester Pepper Grayling, he’s fascinated to learn this she-wolf is her pack’s leader — strong, independent, and definitely not looking for a mate.
With unknown dangers on the prowl, Pepper is tempted to give in to her attraction to Eric and align her pack with his. But Pepper’s been pursued by many alpha males–all out to take over her pack and gain her hard-won territory–and Eric is a born leader. How does Eric earn the trust of a she-wolf who’s been betrayed so often in the past?
I have been reading this series since it started. I love Terry Spearsβs books and whenever she has a new one coming out I have to get it.
Do you have an author that you preorder all their books before they come out? Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Sounds interesting. I like to get urban fantasy books by Charles de Lint and books by SM Reine as soon as they come out. New Follower via Bloglovin’ Thanks for stopping by my WoW.
First of all, thanks so much for commenting on my WOW post this week!! Sorry for the late comment back….been a little busy…..
LOVE that cover! Pepper definitely looks badass!! The urban fantasy genre is one of my favorites, whether in adult or YA books. Of course, I also love PNR, as they frequently go together. I’m adding this one to my TBR. I’ve loved werewolves ever since I met Jacob Black in the Twilight novels. Lol.
I don’t really have any authors whose books I will automatically buy or pre-order. That’s because I’ve been disappointed before. For instance, I love the Twilight books, but do not care for “The Host” at all. I haven’t read it, but the whole concept of the book is just repulsive to me. In the case of J.K. Rowling, I’m not at all interested in her new adult books. I want more fantasy from her! But wait! I can think of ONE author whose books I will always buy: Mary Balogh. She writes TERRIFIC Regency romance novels!! So that’s at least one author! Lol.
Thanks for sharing, as well as for the thought-provoking question!! Hope you’re having a great weekend!! π
Twilight also made me fall in love with werewolves!
I read The Host. The first few chapters were so boring. I was very close to declaring it a DNF when it started to pick up. It turned out to be a good book. Nothing like the Twilight series but I did enjoy it.
I too do not want to read J.K. Rowling adult books. I have never heard of Mary Balogh, I will have to look into her books!
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to answer my question! π
I’m not sure if this is a book for me, but I hope you’ll love it. Thanks for sharing, and for stopping by my WoW earlier. π
