Review:

As soon as I saw this book I had to pick it up. I have been reading and enjoying books by Janet Daily for a long, long time. I was excited to see this new book of novellas and without reading the synopsis I started reading…

The Apple Orchard by Cathy Lamb

This has to be one of the most emotional stories I have read in a long, long time. I dare you to read this and not cry a single tear. There is no way you can make it through this heartbreaking and touching novella without getting to the point of sobbing over the pain Allie has had to go through most of her life.

A Kiss before Midnight by Mary carter

This one was just ok. I liked the beginning but midway through I knew how it would end and it was just a bit boring after that. I think that Grant and Miles were way to forgiving to be real and Rebecca was kind of wimpy.

Romeo and Juliet… and Jane by Elizabeth Bass

Not a bad romance story at all! The length was perfect and I really like Jane and Roy as a couple. Overall this was an enjoyable novella.

The Devil and Mr. Chocolate by Janet Dailey

At first I wasn’t very impressed with Kitty. She just seemed to blame everything on Sebastian but I was so happy to see her finally realize that Mr. Chocolate wasn’t the one for her. This was a quick and enjoyable romance.

This was a nice selection of novellas to read and each one of them was the perfect length. I am so happy I picked this book to read!
