My Sunday Edition

This has been a crazy week. Trying to get my older kids packed for camp, celebrating my youngest son’s 5th birthday all the while battling a bad sinus headache has left me with not much time to read. I hope this coming week things will be a little calmer.

My Sunday Edition follows three meme’s:

STSmall_thumb[2]

Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits & Tea,  Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer & Stacking the Shelves host by Tynga’s Reviews.

What I bought:

2. Everblue (Mer Tales #1) by Brenda Pandos
3. Shifting by Bethany Wiggins
4. Witches of East End (The Beauchamp Family #1) by Melissa de la Cruz

When I received Angel Betrayed for review I knew I had to read Angel of Darkness first. I looked it up on Amazon and found it on sale for Kindle (that is what started my shopping spree). So far I am really liking it!

What is going on this week:

Well I have three books I will be reviewing and one giveaway starting this week. I still have one giveaway going on so be sure to check it out before it ends:

Giveaway of First Visions by Heather Topham Wood

Goals:

My sinus headache really put a damper on my reading this week.

1. ReVamped (Angel Creek #1) by Ada Adams – review coming this week.
2. A White Cougar Christmas by Eliza Gayle – 20 page ebook
3. A Cajun Werewolf Christmas (Stormy Weather #6) by Selena Blake – 31 page ebook
4. Temptation (Temptation #1) by Karen Ann Hopkins – review coming this week
5. Tangle of Need (Psy-Changeling #11) by Nalini Singh – this book did not disappoint!!
6. Enslaved In Shadows (Shadow Unit #1) by Tigris Eden – review and giveaway coming this week

So while it looks like I read a lot, the page total show that I didn’t. I think I will make this week’s goal 4 books.

I came across this cool test to see how fast you read. It shows that I read 296 words in 46 seconds. Let me know if you take it!

I left yoir blog three times because I got distracted with all your books and the test and I kept forgetting to leave a comment. You had a fab week a shopping spree and great wins. Now to get rid of your headache!

  12. Oh my gosh, SO MUCH AWESOME. I think that all those books you won are ones that are on my wish list, and you’re so lucky to have a copy of them all! I’ve only read Tiger Lily which I thought was super sweet — especially for a take on Peter Pan that I never would’ve thought of — and everyone keeps telling me that Hourglass is a must read so I must try it out soon! ;)

Awesome mailbox this week, Dani! I hope you enjoy them all! <3
