Waiting on Wednesday: Once Burned (Night Prince #1) by Jeaniene Frost

(“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.)

If you are a Jeaniene Frost like myself I know you also are waiting for:

Once Burned (Night Prince, #1)

Once Burned (Night Prince #1) by Jeaniene Frost

Released Date: June 26th 2012

She’s a mortal with dark powers…

After a tragic accident scarred her body and destroyed her dreams, Leila never imagined that the worst was still to come: terrifying powers that let her channel electricity and learn a person’s darkest secrets through a single touch. Leila is doomed to a life of solitude…until creatures of the night kidnap her, forcing her to reach out with a telepathic distress call to the world’s most infamous vampire…

He’s the Prince of Night…

Vlad Tepesh inspired the greatest vampire legend of all—but whatever you do, don’t call him Dracula. Vlad’s ability to control fire makes him one of the most feared vampires in existence, but his enemies have found a new weapon against him—a beautiful mortal with powers to match his own. When Vlad and Leila meet, however, passion ignites between them, threatening to consume them both. It will take everything that they are to stop an enemy intent on bringing them down in flames.

Teaser snippets are available here, here, and here.

I have been waiting ever so patiently for Once Burned to come out and it is almost here! If you have never heard of Jeaniene Frost or read any of her books I highly recommend them!

So what are you waiting for this Wednesday??

The only thing I don’t like about this is that the authors name is HUGE. I thought Frost was going to be the title, till I read your description. Great pick this week!

I have not read anything from this author but the summary sounds so good. Who wouldn’t want to read about a hot Dracula who can control fire?!? Not sure why her name is bigger than the title unless her books sell on her name alone.

Oh good lord… after watching that trailer I was fanning myself. This looks GOOD. Why have I never heard of this author? I must find her books…

The cover is intense lol. I hadn’t heard of this one or the author before. It’s always interesting when the character can hear thoughts through touching. I’m not sure this is something I’d pick up, but It does sound pretty interesting. Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Oh, my word, you have no idea how excited I am for this book!!! I only recently discovered The Night Huntress series, but I think I got through the audio in about a week and a half. 🙂 That Bones is soooo yummy. 😀 And now Vlad gets his own series?!? I must own this! Especially after reading the excerpts Jeaniene’s posted on her blog! If they’re any indication, I’ll be swooning through the entire thing. 😛

Thanks for sharing and for stopping by! 😀
