In My Mailbox–Sunday #7

Sorry for the lack of reviews and other post this past week. I have been busy teaching and reading and just could not find a moment to sit and write anything. I only finished reading three books this week and those reviews will be popping up by the end of this week.

I also have some giveaways starting soon so be sure to check back for those!

Now onto my In My Mailbox for this week:

Bought:

Frost (Stork, #2)

Frost (Stork #2) by Wendy Delsol

Somehow I forgot this book was out and when I saw it this week, well, I had to bring it home!

Born Wicked (The Cahill Witch Chronicles, #1)

Born Wicked (The Cahill Witch Chronicles #1) by Jessica Spotswood

I have seen this one all over everyone’s blogs and I just had to get my own copy.

Infamous (Chronicles of Nick, #3)

Infamous (Chronicles of Nick #3) by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Yeah! Found this at one of the used bookstores this week. Can’t wait to get started reading it…

For Review:

Silver

Silver by Talia Vance

This one sounds really interesting….

Daphne and The Mysterious Girls Secret Bathroom Society

Daphne and The Mysterious Girls Secret Bathroom Society by Robert Shields

The cover isn’t pretty but the synopsis sounds good!

Won:

A couple of weeks ago I won the kindle edition of Transfer Student (Starjump #1) by Laura A.H. Elliott. This week I received a package in the mail from Laura:

Thanks so much Laura! (the books are: Winnemucca, a small-town fairy tale by Laura A.H. Elliott and 13 on Halloween by Laura A.H. Elliott)

Gift:

My sister, Desi, came over for dinner this week and brought me these two books:

Fools Rush In (Weddings by Bella, #1)

Fools Rush In (Weddings by Bella #1) by Janice Thompson

This does sound good!

A Lady Never Surrenders (Hellions of Halstead Hall #5)

A Lady Never Surrenders (Hellions of Halstead Hall #5) by Sabrina Jeffries

I think my sister is trying to get me to read more historical romances (she loves that genre!). Thanks Desi!

That is it for me this week. So what did you get in your mailbox? I can’t wait to check it out!

BORN WICKED! Dani, you have to read that book first — it was such a sweet, beautifully written, and totally original witch book! I loved it from start to finish! And I can’t wait to read more about Silver because it sounds super-interesting, so I’ll be looking out for your review for sure! 😉

So funny about Frost, we’ll have to read and compare the two to see if their titles are well deserved 😉

Awesome, awesome haul!! I need to read the Stork series. Did you see the cover of the third one? I think it’s actually prettier than the other 2, if that’s possible 🙂 Born Wicked sounds great, too. I forgot that was coming out, too. I’ll have to hunt that one down b/c it didn’t jump out at me at the bookstore (my store sucks). Congrats on the winnings ~ I love authors who treat their readers so well with great swag!!!

Thanks for visiting me today!! I’ve seen you all over the place today, did you do anything else today or are just that fast of a typer 😉 Have an awesome week!

Hi, Dani! Thanks for commenting on my IMM post this week! 🙂

So I haven’t read any of the books in the Chronicles of Nick series, but it looks interesting, and I’ve put the first one on my to-read list because of you. Thank you! Born Wicked looks interesting too; I’ve seen it around but I never thought I’d like it. The summary totally looks like my type though!

Enjoy all your reads, including the historical romances. It’s great when your siblings read!
