Stacked Teacups

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

TGIF! So who is looking forward to the weekend! I know I am. I have to run several errands but then I am coming home and curling up on the couch with a good book (or two) and a cup of tea and just relax for a little bit. Ooooh…. I can’t wait!

Today’s card just gets me right in the mood. The warm browns and the vintage look work so well together. The tea cup stamp is by Unity and the French words background is by Stampin Up. The Mocha Brown ribbon in from my Etsy shop.

Here are the challenges I am entering it in:

1. The Shabby Tea Room Week #62 – ‘Monochromatic’

2. Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge #88: Winners and Shining Stars

3. The Paper Shelter Challenge #14 Distress to Impress

4. Our Creative Corner Au Naturel With a Twist

5. The Rubber Café Challenge TRCC#18 Vintage

That is it for today. If you have a chance, pop back in this weekend. I am working on a few things that I would love to show you!

Absolutely lovely! It’s beautiful to see a bit of a space between your teacups and the background words. I guess it’s how you masked it? Thanks for playing at OCC!

I love how you kept the stacked tea cups realistic! I really liked all the little touches! The wide lace trim, and the gold edging around the decorative solid piece. Thank you for playing along with us @ OCC! I hope that we see more of your creative work, again.

Oh, this is absolutely lovely, Dani! Such a gorgeous touch with that wide lace and the seam binding! What a wonderful vintage image too! You really did a marvelous job on the challenge at Our Creative Corner – sorry I’m so late getting round to leave a comment, but glad anyway that you joined in the fun with us last week!

This is so beautiful. I have just recently purchased those delightful stacked teacups from Unity and was looking about the net for inspiring examples. Boy did I find one here! This is so magical and utterly inspiring. Thank you for this big bit of inspiration!
