My Weekly Bible Journaling #49 – Psalms

bible

While I did do a lot of Bible reading I didn’t do a lot of journaling this past week. Instead I just spent some quality time with my Hubby and kids. It was his birthday this past week and I wanted to make sure he knew how much he is loved.

Then this weekend I went shopping. Hobby Lobby had some wonderful items on clearance and I just had to bring a few things home with me… I am looking forward to trying out my new supplies in the coming weeks.

Here is what I have read and journaled in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible this past week:

My oldest daughter came home from her trip early Tuesday morn and brought me the sweetest sign for my desk! I love her so much and her touching gift means a lot to me! Then we spent the day celebrating my wonderful Hubby's birthday. We had a fun day with the family and I love them all... You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely. - Psalm 59:17

I read much more than I thought I would today! I just love the Psalms and I always seem to read what I need to hear.

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. - Psalm 62:5

Shout for joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious. - Psalm 66: 1-2

Now I did not paint these pages. These flowers and leaves are from a sticker set I bought at Hobby Lobby.  All I did was add a few little sprigs on one of the pages and the dots.

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. – Psalm 62:5

Shout for joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious. – Psalm 66: 1-2

I love seeing how others journal in their Bibles. I do not do that myself. I have tried on several occasions but I love actual writing down what God is teaching me through His word. Blessings!

How beautiful & how talented you are! I keep an art journal & a personal journal but haven’t been brave enough to do combine art in my bible yet!

You are so sweet! I too started with an art journal and then moved onto a coloring Bible. It has really helped me with my relationship with Him!
