This is a bright and colorful book that held my daughter’s attention while I read it to her. There are 19 devotionals in it. Each devotional is center around a word as it’s theme. words like obey, patience and brave. At the end of each devotion there is a simple prayer that help teach your little one how to pray.

I was delighted when my little one pointed to a picture and recognized that it was Jesus. She liked the prayers and has been saying them over and over while she plays with her dolls. I think this delightful book will be one she asks us to read to her over and over again.

The one complaint I have is this – I think there should be a Bible verse associated with each of the 19 words/ devotionals. This would have been a excellent way to introduce Scripture to children and show them why these words are important.
