My Weekly Bible Journaling #42–Job

bible

Sorry about last Sunday. I ended up taking some time off and just hung out with my family. We decorated the house, played Christmas music and ate leftovers.

I am excited because I am almost done with my Christmas shopping! Then I just need to print the family photos, get the Christmas cards ready, sew a Christmas stocking and after that hopefully, I can find a moment to sit down with a cup of hot apple cider.

Here is what I have read and journaled in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible this week:

The start of this week finds me getting ready for Thanksgiving. I am tweaking my menu a bit and getting ready to make some pies either tomorrow or Wednesday. Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him; I will surely[a] defend my ways to his face. -Job 13:15 #biblejournalersofinstagram #illustratedfaith #documentedfaith #bibleartjournaling #biblejournaling #bibleverse #dailybiblereading #biblejournalingcommunity #icolorinmybible #ipaintinmybible #scripture #scriptureart #bibleart #journalingbible #oldtestament #biblelettering #watercolorart

I finished this page and then I started getting ready for Thanksgiving. I made three pies, brownies, as well as 6 dozen muffins.

Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him; I will surely[a] defend my ways to his face. -Job 13:15

I have been reading this past week but I just haven't had time to journal. Thanksgiving kept me busy and now getting ready for Christmas, looking for yummy gluten free meals I can make and chasing after my suddenly very mobile Little One... well I barely can find time to sit down! I know that my redeemer[a] lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth. - Job 19:25 #biblejournalersofinstagram #illustratedfaith #documentedfaith #bibleartjournaling #biblejournaling #bibleverse #dailybiblereading #biblejournalingcommunity #icolorinmybible #ipaintinmybible #scripture #scriptureart #bibleart #journalingbible #oldtestament #biblelettering #snowman

Things have been busy aroound here. so much to do and so little time to get it all done. I have already recieved our very first Christmas card of the Season! Praying that He slows things down enough so that we can enjoy the real reason for this Season of Lights! What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways. - Job 22:28 #biblejournalersofinstagram #illustratedfaith #documentedfaith #bibleartjournaling #biblejournaling #bibleverse #dailybiblereading #biblejournalingcommunity #icolorinmybible #ipaintinmybible #scripture #scriptureart #bibleart #journalingbible #oldtestament #biblelettering #snowman #seasonoflight

I am off to bed. Got a lot done today and am looking forward to the weekend. But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. - Job 23:10 #biblejournalersofinstagram #illustratedfaith #documentedfaith #bibleartjournaling #biblejournaling #bibleverse #dailybiblereading #biblejournalingcommunity #icolorinmybible #ipaintinmybible #scripture #scriptureart #bibleart #journalingbible #oldtestament #biblelettering

I finally finished the book of Job. I think that this is a book I need to revisit again. There is a lot to learn in these pages and I want to try and get it all in.

But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. – Job 23:10

It is good to take family time. Sounds like a relaxing week. I still need to get in the mood to decorate. Can’t believe it is December already. 🙂 Your journaling looks great. I found two books at Ollie’s (a local store) that isn’t a Bible but I’m excited to use the pages for adding tipouts to my Bible. Your journaling is inspiring me. 🙂

You’re right, this time of year is so crazy busy! You’re done Christmas shopping? I haven’t even begun! Ugh. I love your beautiful journaling – I’m always impressed!

Lovely to see how you do journaling, thank you. I write my prayers and prayer answers in my journal and it has been a huge blessing in my life last 20+ years. I try to do it every day but don’t quite make it but the more I journal the more blessed I am. Abundant blessings to you!

Sometimes we all need to take a break, especially if it’s to spend time with the family. I love your pages this week…and I secretly envy you for having almost completed your Christmas shopping. I’m way behind this year.

Your pages are amazing! I love color, but am not artistic. Sometimes my journal pages contain very basic sketches (think stick people), but typically my pages are filled with words, some ripped from the pit of my soul, and others wellsprings of praise and thanksgiving for the gift of God’s Word.

I am blessed by your artistic vision, the way you share it with others. Thank you for that. Job is totally a book to visit again and again. Our church is going through it slowly ( taking a break for Advent) but still, taking time to digest the wisdom.
Thanks for sharing this at the #GraceMometns Link Up.
    Blessings!
