This week has been chilly here and I love it! Unfortunately the temps are going to be higher this coming week so I will be back to wearing shorts and sandals. What is interesting is my (and my brother’s) roses are blooming! They are so lovely but for some reason it doesn’t feel right having roses bloom in November!
I am now trying to figure out our Thanksgiving menu. All the kids have their favorites sides and desserts that they want. I just hope some of them will be home to help me fix it all!
This is what I have read and journaled in my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible this week:
Finished the book of Nehemiah. I know I have read it before but for some reason I feel like I got more out of it this time.
This week I will be praying for the families in South Texas.
Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and go and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy.
Remember me for this also, my God, and show mercy to me according to your great love. – Nehemiah 13:22
Starting the Book of Esther. Interesting fact – it’s the only Biblical book that does not mention God by name.
It is a chilly, rainy day and I am actually loving it!I have apple cider in my mug. Kids are doing schoolwork and my little one is crawling all over to me. Praying for my sick ones today…
For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” – Esther 4:14
Busy and interesting day. I am so thankful for the people in my life and for the love we have for one another.
Mordecai the Jew was second in rank to King Xerxes, preeminent among the Jews, and held in high esteem by his many fellow Jews, because he worked for the good of his people and spoke up for the welfare of all the Jews. – Esther 10:3
Reviewed the fun coloring/ devotional book this week. Perfect for families who want to grow closer in The word and to each other. Check it out HERE.
