My Weekly Bible Journaling #17

The countdown is on and we are heading towards to the finish line…

My doctor has such a sweet way of encouragement about her. She always makes me so happy to see. her. She let me know that she is so proud of the way I am doing and we both cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has been. Please keep us in your prayers as we make this final stretch. Just 12 more days to go…

Last week we had a great time celebrating the birth of my 11 year old. This week we have a day of orthodontist and doctors appointments, my two older kids are take some of their last high school tests and I am getting my blood work and pre-admitting stuff done for the hospital. I think I already need a nap!

I just want to thank everyone who reached out to us. We are ok. Just lost our electricity for a bit and our internet came back on this morning. It looks like the tornadoes stayed to the east of us.

It was a scary night and we are very thankful that God blessed us and kept us safe! Please pray for those in Canton and everyone else who was in the path of these storms.

Here is what I studied and worked on this week as I am making my way through my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible:

Starting the book of Joshua this week. I am excited to see what new lessons the Lord wants to teach me…

One of my favorite verses from Joshua: Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

That day the Lord exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they stood in awe of him all the days of his life, just as they had stood in awe of Moses. Joshua 4:14(NIV)

It was here that they finally acknowledged that Joshua was truly a leader like Moses had been. I thought that this was an interesting point to make. Apparently up to now they just followed him. Now they feared him and respected him like they had Moses.

I think most kids who have heard the story of the Battle of Jericho love it! I know I acted it out several time in Sunday School growing up and so have my kids. There is just something wonderful about how the Lord created this unique miracle for His people…

My plant of the week is this unknown squash plant! It has popped up by the bottom back porch step. No one planted him there and we all are guessing what he is going to be. I have a good idea I know but we will see…

This week I reviewed the Fantasia Premium Watercolor Pencil Set and tried them out in my Bible. Check out how well they work!

I think it is a pumpkin! 🙂 The kids were playing with the pumpkins after Thanksgiving in that area so it wouldn’t surprise me if that is what it is!

  3. stephwrites68 says:

Wow, teenagers and a baby coming! I am finally done and the last one will graduate high school this summer. I am relieved one minute and crying the next. It is a bitter and sweet place to be. Cherish one day at a time, my friend. You have a beautiful talent and I will come back to visit. I am bible journaling on Instagram as stephwrites68 and blogging at, God bless you

    • Dani says:

🙂 Actually my oldest is 22! They keep me busy and I love it! It is sad when they move on. I have 2 graduating this year and it is hard because our little one is due right during their celebration time. They understand and are so sweet about it but I know it is hard on us all.

Found you on IG and I am now a follower! Can’t wait to see what you create! Blessings to you!

  4. Emily says:

How beautiful. My sister and I were 12 and 15 when our youngest sister was born. 25 years later, she’s always been such a blessing to our family. Now she’s closer in age to my daughters than to her sisters, but they are so close to her, it’s wonderful. Blessings to you all. Thanks for sharing at #HomeMattersParty

    • Dani says:

I have a feeling our family will be like that. My oldest two are 22 and 19. It is amazing to see the relationship they have with our 2 year old and I can’t wait to see them love on this new one.
