My Weekly Bible Journaling #15

This past week was crazy busy for us. Which is one of the main reasons this post is coming up today and not on Sunday. That and we unexpectedly had to go out of town this weekend. Then to top it all off I have had a bad headache for several days.

This coming week between more dentist/ doctors appointments I am going to try and get some rest. If my kids will let me… Just 25 more days until my little one arrives and I still have a ton to do!

I didn’t get a lot done but h ere is what I studied and worked on this week as I am making my way through my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible:

I worked on this on a very overcast day that made me so sleepy!
This page was simple and easy to make and when I finished I felt I needed to add a bit more color to it. So I put a little washi on the bottom. This is the first time I used washi tape in my Bible!

We had a wonderful visit with my doctor and we finally got to see her face. It is always good when the doctor is excited about how well you and the baby are doing.
Came home to find this sweet panda chopstick/ paintbrush holder had arrived. My youngest daughter fell in love with it and this morning she found the ‘Mommy’ for it! Now they both have to sit on my desk!

This page did not take me long to read and to watercolor. Which is good because I didn’t have a long time to study today.

I had won the Message Canvas Bible earlier and one of my sons was flipping through it and came across this page. We read it and he ask me to watercolor it. I tried to make it look like wheat but several people have told me that it looks like cattails. Oh welll…

Just a little preview of something I am working on that I have to get done before the little one arrives. Also my Easter gift – The Psalms! I am following a few people on Instagram who have been journaling in this book and I can’t wait to start doing this myself!

Yay, you got to see her beautiful face. I love that you put the sonogram pictures next to your journal pages. So excited for you, and your artwork is always so beautiful! We are neighbors today at #WomenWithIntention

Your pages are beautiful and I thought wheat before I read what you wrote about that page! 🙂 And we’re wheat farmers, so wheat it is! 😉

I’ve done some journaling in the Bible I have, though it’s not technically a journaling Bible. I’ve really enjoyed it! I do a lot of lettering, but have done some drawing, some tracing and used a few printables, stickers and washi.

    • Dani Chapman says:

Woohoo!!! I am so glad someone sees the wheat! 🙂 That makes my day!

If you post pictures of your journaling I would love to see it!

These are beautiful! Very Pinterest-worthy. 🙂 I think this is an amazing, unique form of worship and connection with God that a lot of people don’t think about even if they have the skills!

    • Dani Chapman says:

It is still a very new form of worship. I love that I have opened and study His Word more this year than ever before!

  4. Peabea says:

Hope the headache is better. I’ve had one off and on and wondering since they say it’s allergy season here or the fact that the weather can’t make up its mind. 🙂 A new mom soon, how fun. Congratulations. I think it looks like wheat, and will check back to see what the project turns out to be.

It is! It lasted for 2 1/;2 days and now I am feeling so much better! It could be allergies. We never had a good/ hard freeze this year.

LOL, I am an old mom. Our newest blessing will be #8 for us! 🙂
