My Weekly Bible Journaling #12

This week has been a mostly sunny week which we love. Friday brought in the rain which my plants needed especially my roses.

This weekend I have some cleaning and organizing I need to get done before our little one arrives. I am hoping to get it done while I have the energy to do so!

Here is what I studied and worked on this week as I am working my way through my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible::

It is comforting to me to know that our God does not change his mind. That he is the same and will always be that way.

This page was fun and easy to do. I had a lot of questions about it so I am planning on making a tutorial to show how it is done. Look for it early next month!

After my page dried I found out that I had accidently gotten some of the paint onto my craft mat and it got all over the back of the page. I decided to use it even though I had not planned to do anything there. I added a little more paint and once it dried I wrote the prophecy from Numbers 24:17. Then I added some stickers to it.

This is a good verse to learn and to teach our children!

I wanted to play around with using these acrylic paints so I pulled out my Inspire Bible  and created this page in Revelations. Love how it turned out!

Yesterday I demonstrated how to use Gamsol with colored pencils. Stop by and check out this easy and fun technique!

I journaled through the whole Bible one year, doodling in it and reading every word. It was such a wonderful way to engage in God’s word!

What beautiful illustrations. I’ve never really wanted a Journaling Bible, but looking at your artwork, I’m thinking I might need one! I’d love the space to write verses on the sides. Thank you so much for joining us at Encouraging Word Wednesday!

I’m beginning Bible journaling. I came across the idea in DO Magazines. I ordered a journaling Bible and am waiting for it to arrive. I’ve marked verses that I’d like to illustrate. I have a book on Bible journaling. I read a devotional every morning. This has been giving me ideas, too.
