Bible Journaling: Week 4

This has been a busy week for us. My son’s oral surgery went great and be is doing better. Still sore where the stitches are but he started eating solid foods again.

This coming week we will be celebrating my husband’s birthday. He is such a sweet and loving man and I am grateful to God for blessing me with him!

So I went back to the beginning and stamped Eve in my Bible. This is the first time I have rubber stamped in my Bible and I loved it! The next day I stamped her again in my Prayers and Praise journal. I read a little more about her in the Women of the Bible devotional book by Ann Spangler and Jean Syswerda. Then I wrote my thoughts about her in my journal.

Here is an up-close picture of Eve. I water colored her in my Bible and my journal.

I did this one with colored pencils and gel highlighters. I love gel highlighters. They blend really well and they don’t bleed through. I really wish that they came in more colors.

A little gel pens and water colors and I was don this this verse. I like this verse a lot and I may have to use it in my journal.

Another one with gel pens and water colors. It took awhile to color but it was fun and the kids and I like how it turned out.

I am so glad that this one was quick and easy to do! I had a short amount of time to work on it before I headed out and it was already dried before I left!

I did find some time at night to color in one of my favorite coloring books this week with my favorite colored pencils. I am amazed that these affordable pencils color so well!

FYI – If you are into Bible Journaling I cleaned out my stash this week and listed a few things that I don’t need. Stop by my Etsy store and check them out if you have the time.

If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to leave me a comment!

I enjoy seeing how other people study the Bible!

I’m currently studying Bible verses on prayer. Each day I write out a verse in my notebook, then make notes about what the verse means to me, as well as a few lines from a commentary, if applicable. I think I need some lessons from you on being creative with it – you do beautiful work!!
